License Terms

Overview

When you acquire a product from This Is Also through Polar checkout, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product according to the terms below. This Is Also retains all intellectual property rights in the original product.

Free Products

Free components, templates, plugins, and vectors are licensed under a permissive license. You can:

• Use in unlimited personal and commercial projects
• Modify and customize as needed
• Include in client work and charge for your services
• No attribution required (but appreciated)

You cannot:

• Resell, redistribute, or offer the product for download (free or paid)
• Claim the product as your own original creation
• Include in competing template or component marketplaces
• Share source files with third parties

Paid Products

Paid templates, components, plugins, and vectors include an extended license. Each purchase grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to one named user seat. You can:

• Use in unlimited personal and commercial projects
• Modify and customize extensively for each project
• Include in client work and charge for your design services
• Create derivative works (customized sites built from the template)

You cannot:

• Resell, redistribute, lease, or sub-license the product in any form
• Share your license, source files, or download link with others
• Include in template marketplaces, design asset stores, or SaaS products where the template itself is the product
• Create competing marketplace products based substantially on the purchased product
• Allow end users to extract and use the product separately from the final website

Seat-Based Access

Our paid license is unlimited by project count but limited by user access. One paid license covers one named person who can build unlimited projects.

• One paid license equals one named user seat
• That seat can use the product across unlimited personal, commercial, and client projects
• If multiple collaborators need source-file access, each collaborator must hold their own paid seat
• Client handoff of final deliverables is allowed, but reusable source files and license rights are not transferable

Intellectual Property

This Is Also retains all intellectual property rights in the original product, including design, code, structure, and documentation. Your license grants usage rights only. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

License Termination

Your license is perpetual for as long as you comply with these terms. If you breach any license restriction, your license terminates automatically. On termination, you must stop using the product and destroy all copies. Websites already deployed for end clients remain unaffected.

Warranty Disclaimer

Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee compatibility with all Framer features, third-party integrations, or future platform updates. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
